Bottesini to Attilio Zurla? (Milano, 2 Dec 1858)
Pregiatissimo Signor Marchese,

I am taking the liberty of warmly recommending to you Signora Esther Trucco the prima donna of the Teatro di Crema, a young woman of great artistic merit and who will, I do not doubt, delight my fellow citizens. Knowing well the graciousness of Signor Marchese's character, I don't doubt at all that you will be able to assist my valuable recommended person.

A student of the distinguished Maestro St. Giovanni, and endowed with so many qualities, she will be able to call herself fortunate to consolidate her beautiful career under the auspices of the esteem of my fellow citizens and of my good friend in particular.

Ringraziandola anticipatamente

mi prego il dirmi di Lei
Dev.mo Servo ed Amico
