The bearer of this letter is Signor De Tivoli who is going to Milan expressly in order to negotiate on my account my credit on your firm.

I ask you therefore to facilitate the operation with all the means in your power according to what you will be requested by the aforesaid De Tivoli.
Ti saluto cordialmente e sono
Il tuo aff.mo amico
