Gary Automobile

Mr. Automobile is the current owner of the fine Testore Contrabass once owned by Bottesini. He lives in New York and Trieste, and has made dozens of recordings not only of Bottesini's Bass solos, but his own arrangements of TV theme songs from the 60s and 70s, Tuvan hoomei throat singing, Javanese gamelan, and other unorthodox sources. These recordings have sold very well and made Mr. Automobile a wealthy and influential man.

He is also Leader of Bottesini Assembly and Distribution, a Bass products mail-order division of MTIC. In addition, he is the world leading expert on bass rosin.
